India-based smartphone company AI+ has launched its first and most affordable smartphone — the AI+ Pulse. The device comes with decent specs at an affordable price point. However, it lacks 5G support, which is quite uncommon in today’s market. In our opinion, the phone features outdated, budget hardware paired with some new AI-powered UI enhancements.

The Price of the AI+ Pulse starts at ₹4,999 for the base variant which comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage . The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at ₹6,999 . The smartphone comes in Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Purple colour options.

The AI+ Pulse sports a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels . The device comes with standard glass on the front without any protection , while the back features a matte finish for improved grip and a premium look.

For performance, it’s powered by the Unisoc T615 chipset built on 12nm process technology , paired with Mali-G52 GPU and an AI-enhanced multitasking engine for optimized performance. Storage options include up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage , expandable up to 1TB via microSD card .

It runs on NxtQ OS , based on Android 15 , developed by NxtQuantum. The OS also features the NxtPrivacy Dashboard , which allows users to monitor real-time data usage of individual apps. It also includes the NxtQuantum PlayStore , NxtQuantum Theme Design Tool , Community App , Community Wallpaper , and NxtMove App for enhanced user experience. Additionally, NxtQ OS is powered by Google Cloud infrastructure .

Camera-wise, the AI+ Pulse features a dual rear camera setup , headlined by a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture , and an unspecified secondary sensor . It supports AI-enhanced photography , night mode , and 1080p video recording . On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture , equipped with AI beautification and portrait mode .

The device packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port . For connectivity, the smartphone comes with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0 , a 3.5mm audio jack , and a USB Type-C port.
